As event planners, it is important for us to stay current and build off of past experiences so that we can produce grand results. After the success of our Winter 2012 PEARstyle Shoot (featured in WellWed Magazine), we can only hope to inspire and create an even more successful shoot for our upcoming Summer 2013 Style Shoot! Here is some valued feedback we gathered from our models, vendors and photographer from the most recent Spring 2013 Style Shoot:
Staying chic and flawless on their big day
1. What was your favorite part of the process of this photo shoot?
“My favorite part was being able to finally meet and work with all the vendors and see our creative talents come together!” – Mandi Hornung, LeeAndis Accessories
“Working with the many professionals who contributed their own work, and allowing me to photograph the models with my own style, but still focusing on their work as well.” – Rich Paprocki, Rich Paprocki Photography
“Meeting a whole new group of amazing people was the highlight of the day! From the hair and makeup artists to the other models and photographers, we were all swapping stories and contact information by the end of the photo shoot. It’s amazing the talent we have here in Buffalo [New York]. Bringing all these people together from different industries and backgrounds for one big project was wonderful.” – Kathryn Przybyla, model
2. Have you ever been in a wedding shoot before?
“This was my first wedding shoot and I couldn’t have had a better time with PEAR. A lot of my friends are getting engaged now, so it’s fun to play dress up in these beautiful Made by Anatomy dresses. They were so chic and fun to wear. A wedding is such a happy event and it was fun going through the motions for this shoot. I definitely picked up a few ideas that I’ll have to hang on to for my own wedding one day.” – Kathryn Przybyla, model
“I have done a few wedding shoots so far. Each one has its own flavor. I love the variation. I joke with my friends that I make a better groom on film than I would in real life.” – Guy William Gane III, model
“No [wedding shoots], only prom shoots. However, I would love to again!”
– Amy L. Reusch, model
3. What is one fun fact about yourself?
“Well, as of three years ago, I couldn’t hardly even make a bow!”
– Mandi Hornung, LeeAndis Accessories
“I hate to get my photo taken, yet still get annoyed when guests try to avoid me at a wedding!”
– Rich Paprocki, Rich Paprocki Photography
“I am a huge Superman geek and a huge Civil War history/uniform nerd.”
– Guy William Gane III, model
Love is in the air!
So there you have it, folks! Thank you again to the wonderful and talented vendors, models and friends that contributed to our past Style Shoots. Stay tuned as we start planning for summer 2013…
